I do not think that privatization works in Italy, especially for the cultural resources.
Besides, it is a one way road, from which it will be impossible to come back.
It seems like it is a marketing and cheap way to show that the State is doing something for Pompeii. When it is actually giving it away.
What is it? A garage sale?
