Conference: Opening the Past

At this year's "Opening the Past" conference, colleagues from the Herculaneum Conservation Project will be presenting the results of their geoarchaeological work, looking at the original extent of the Vesuvian coastline before AD 79, the extent of the ancient city and the effects of bradyseism on the Roman buildings in the lead-up to the eruption.
