Please spread the word to your students and colleagues that the Vesuvian Archaeology Courses at the Herculaneum Centre are now accepting student applications for March (more soon about courses for life-long learners). The March dates coincide with spring break in the USA. The courses are intended for university students of Roman history, archaeology, architecture, history of art and material culture, heritage management and conservation. On-site teaching will take place at Pompeii and Herculaneum and also at lesser-known sites like the Villa Sora; there will be classroom presentations to establish context, and guest lectures from local and international scholars. All nationalities are welcome (although teaching is in English).
Full details and application form are available here on the Herculaneum Centre website. If you have any questions about the courses (or if you want to register your interest for the lifelong learning courses), please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
