Pompeii ("Bang Bang (My Lover Shot Me Down)" by Nancy Sinatra)

Take a look at this fabulous video by History Teachers (first seen on Rogue Classicism, along with a bunch of other such videos). Great stuff!

I like it! I guess I will show it to my class next time we will be talkign about Pompeii.

What's the name of the movies whose scenes are in the back ground?

The scenes are probably taken from one of the film versions of 'The Last Days of Pompeii'. The earliest was filmed in 1908, I believe; there are others dating to 1913 (which is awesome), 1935, the 1950s and so on. I would guess, but I don't know for sure because I haven't seen it, that the majority of the scenes used here are from the 1908 version.
